Getting started

From install to a live progress bar in about five minutes.

EZ AOV Boost full walkthrough

1. Install the app

  1. Visit EZ AOV Boost on the App Store and click Install.
  2. Review the requested permissions in your Shopify admin and approve them.
  3. Approve the subscription on Shopify's plan page. Your 30-day free trial starts immediately — you won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime.

2. Enable the theme app embed

The progress bar and recommendations render through a theme app embed, so it works with any Online Store 2.0 theme — no code editing required.

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
  2. Click the App embeds icon in the left sidebar (puzzle-piece icon).
  3. Toggle EZ AOV Boost on.
  4. Click Save.

The app's home page shows an embed status check. If it reports the embed is disabled, use the button there to jump straight to the theme editor with the embed panel open.

3. Create your first reward tier

  1. Open EZ AOV Boost from Apps in your Shopify admin.
  2. Go to Rewards and add a tier — for example, 10% off at $50.
  3. Pick a reward type: percentage off, fixed amount off, free shipping, free gift, or store credit.
  4. Save. The tier goes live on your storefront right away.

4. Verify on your storefront

  1. Open your storefront and add a product to the cart.
  2. Open the cart page or cart drawer — the progress bar should appear, showing how far the cart is from the next reward.
  3. Add enough to cross your threshold and confirm the reward applies automatically at checkout — no discount code needed.

Troubleshooting

  • No progress bar? Confirm the theme app embed is enabled (step 2) and that you saved the theme. If you use multiple themes, enable the embed on the published theme.
  • Bar shows but no reward at checkout? Check the tier is enabled and the cart subtotal (after other discounts) actually meets the threshold.
