EZ AOV Boost raises your average order value with four tools in one app: cart minimums that block below-minimum checkouts, up to 5 reward tiers with a live progress bar (percentage discounts, fixed discounts, free shipping, free gifts, and store credit), in-cart product recommendations, and A/B testing with analytics and a data-driven Threshold Advisor.

No. The app installs as a theme app embed — you enable it with one toggle in the Shopify theme editor. No theme files are edited, and disabling the embed removes everything cleanly.

All Online Store 2.0 themes, including Dawn and Horizon. The progress bar and recommendations appear on the cart page and in cart drawers, on desktop and mobile.

No codes needed. Discounts, free shipping, and free gifts apply automatically at checkout using Shopify Functions, which run on Shopify's own infrastructure. When a cart crosses a tier threshold, the reward is applied server-side — customers just see it happen.

No. The minimum is enforced server-side at the moment the customer clicks “Complete Order,” so old checkout links, multiple tabs, browser dev tools, and express checkout buttons (Shop Pay, Apple Pay) can't get around it. Free gifts are excluded from the minimum calculation so they stay truly free.

The gift product must be Active (or Unlisted), the selected variant must have stock (or “continue selling when out of stock” enabled), and subscription products can't be used as gifts. If a gift goes out of stock, customers see an “out of stock” message instead of the add button.

When an order crosses a store-credit tier, the credit is granted to the customer's Shopify account after the order is placed — it costs nothing at checkout and brings the customer back for a future purchase. The customer must be logged in (guest checkouts are skipped), and you can set an optional expiry.

You split-test two sets of tier amounts. Each cart session is randomly (and consistently) assigned variant A or B; variant-B customers see and are charged against variant-B thresholds. Analytics show per-variant orders and average order value, and you can promote the winning variant in one click. See the A/B testing guide.

We never collect or store customer names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or payment details. Analytics use anonymous, Shopify-generated cart tokens and cart subtotals only. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Your access token is invalidated immediately. 48 hours after uninstall, Shopify sends the shop/redact notice and all of your store's data — configuration, analytics, everything — is permanently deleted. The 48-hour window means your settings survive an accidental uninstall/reinstall.
